Jonah’s restaurant offers Modern Australian cuisine under the direction of award-winning chef George Francisco.

George’s modern Australian style of cooking has a significant French influence, but it is his passion for finding and using the best and freshest local produce that will ensure Jonah’s diners are as impressed about the food as they are about the view.

George has gained his extensive knowledge and far reaching reputation working and training in a number of internationally acclaimed restaurants on both the East and West coast of the United States including ‘Stars’ and ‘Farrallon’ both in San Francisco.

Jonah’s recent induction into Relais & Chateaux is testament to George’s talent. Every Relais & Châteaux Hotel must have a restaurant of high reputation serving cuisine that is both unique and representative of the local area.

George’s membership of the Slow Food Convivium is testament to his undying passion for food. Founded in Italy in 1986 Slow Food is a grassroots international organization that links pleasure and food with awareness and responsibility – in a nutshell Slow Food is the opposite of fast food.

Jonah’s menu is produce driven and regularly changed. Jonah’s offers breakfast and lunch seven days per week and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday evenings. With a variety of dining options Jonah’s is sure to please even the most discerning of diners. Jonah’s offers a full a la carte menu, a light outdoor dining menu and of course our highly acclaimed degustation menus.

With a cellar of over 250 different wines, an amazing vintage champagne list and 24 wines by the glass diners at Jonah’s can be assured that there is wine to match every dish and occasion. For those interested in trying something new, our resident sommelier is always happy to offer guidance and be involved in matching wines to each course.

The recently renovated restaurant boasts 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean and Whale Beach, well spaced tables and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
