With Jonah’s induction into Relais & Chateaux in November 2007 the property is now joined with some of the most beautiful hotels in the world. Jonah’s is the only Relais & Châteaux hotel in NSW and one of only two in Australia. Jonah’s was nominated for induction by Tetsuya Wakuda -the only Relais and Chateaux Grand Chef in Australia.
Relais & Chateaux was originally set up in the 1950’s to link ten provincial hotels en route from Paris to Marseilles, the group now boasts over 450 properties in 50 countries. All Relais & Chateaux properties are regularly anonymously reviewed and must embody the five C philosophy – of Courtesy, Charm, Character, Calm and Cuisine.

Jonah’s is simply perfect for weddings. After a ceremony in the beautiful cliff top garden, your guests will enjoy al fresco drinks and lush canapés before proceeding to the main restaurant. We also offer a private room and terrace for smaller weddings.
Jonah’s restaurant offers Modern Australian cuisine under the direction of award-winning chef George Francisco. George’s modern Australian style of cooking has a significant French influence, but it is his passion for finding and using the best and freshest local produce that will ensure Jonah’s diners are as impressed about the food as they are about the view.
Jonah’s rooms feature king-size beds, exotic hand-crafted furniture and limestone bathrooms with jacuzzi spa baths situated so guests can lay back and enjoy the spectacular view. Private balconies off each room offer guests a place to enjoy a pre dinner cocktail, massage or a secluded spot to entertain friends.
